Geese need a lot of room and being vegetarian require plenty of grazing. We have limited grass and so there is no plan to house any more geese.
Here are the two geese with a little bit about them.
Satan
Satan got his name by accident due to the fact that he is devilishly handsome. He is the alpha of the two ganders and he keeps Bub in check but he is a very fussy eater and doesn't even like any of the treats that we offer him.
Beelzebub (Bub)
It was obvious that the second gander would have a similar name, but Bub has a dark side to him. He hates men. We don't know why but something must have happened to him when he was young, because he is completely crazy when he sees a man. This tends to upset Satan who feels he has to control the situation, so we try to keep men away from their area if we can.
Most geese will eat a variety of greens but not these two! If it isn't lettuce or very tender cabbage, well, it just isn't considered as food. Watching them vigorously shaking their head from side to side, it is made quite obvious that NO means NO!
